I guess the unwritten law that says that says that "possession is 9/10s of the law" - or whoever has it basically owns it was the feeling that the neighboring countries had towards Israel and their lands. These nations and in particular Edom was with "glee" and with malice in their hearts that they made God's land their own possession so that they can plunder the pastureland. The Lord will now take steps to rectify that situation and once again restore Israel to its lands and to its God. Not only will restoration occur from a land and its people but also a nation to God. Restoration would leave to "thriving, not just surviving".
Workwise, this week is dragging - feels like a Thursday but it's not. Glad I was able to connect with Kevin last night to talk briefly about how to teach the High School class given the advent of the community kids that we would be addressing. Good to know that we are on the same page. The weekend is also packed but hopefully we can connect as a family as well given our schedules and commitments.
Praise for today: What He says, He does!
