Ez 43:1-12

What a vision! The glory of God coming into the temple from the east and Ezekiel falling face down in awe, honor and respect. Not only did he see the glory but heard His voice. The temple was for the "soles of His feet" and there is where He will dwell forever and restore His plan and holiness among the people. While Ezekiel had been recording all that was before him in regards of the temple both in detail and intent, God tells him to describle the temple to the people of Israel so that they may be ashamed of their sins and follow the regulations and the detail of the design of the temple. The top of the mountain and the surrounding areas will be most holy.

Tough to imagine in words the spectacle that was before him. Phillip Yancey in his book, Rumors of another World often speaks of the inadequacies of words and our minds to fathom God and His power. Still all we can do is imagine.

Prayers for today: still struggling with jetlag and the recent cable box issues. Got a new one yesterday and still doesn't work- now awaiting a service call on mid-day Friday.

Praise for today: He is faithful and just!
