Today I will embark on a new book but one that I have read countless times. In my quest to reread the Bible since I have been down here, I have completed the NT but have a few book (such as this one) to do. Partly because I have either taught a class about them or have taken a class about them so the appeal to me is less. Still this is where it all begins and so today I start.
Amazing how in all of this that the 1st chapter was worded. Each verse starts off with, "and God said" meaning He spoke it into existence with a language and vocabulary that is so unique and so powerful that one cannot comprehend. We can never speak things to existence as created beings. We may demand our way but others need to carry out our orders. Still a phenomenal idea and concept. God is certainly unique in this respect.
Gonna make this short so I can head over to the gym and ponder this some more. I wonder if Rich Mullins will give me some more ideas to think about this morning...
