2 Cor 12:13-21

Paul's concern for the Corinthians is so great that he is willing to visit them a third time. We may think it is easy given our modern-day ease of transportation and freedoms. Yet with Paul and his time, it is a huge undertaking. A church is not a "set it and forget it" item. Paul is willing to "spend and expend" himself for these people. He doesn't consider his status inferior as one "in Christ" and likewise doesn't consider that church "inferior" to other churches as well. The one he sent, Titus, was one who was self-sufficient and still gave so as not to be a burden and thus Paul will come with that same attitude. His concern is that they will be as vibrant and as pure a church as a "bride of Christ" should be.

I guess that means we constantly have to strive to have our house in order - whether on a personal basis or as a church to be prepared as His bride.

Prayer for today - same as prior days - peeps, GG and his travails and attitude, David and Irene.

Praise for today: That God always sends a rainbow after the rain.
